Dad's birthday card

This is an attempt at steampunk, My dad likes steam trains, and hopefully i have captured the essence of both. I was worried it would end up a train card with toppers!

Barjan challenge.

This is my barjan challenge completed. We were given a 3 page mini book, and had to decorate and embelish it in anyway we wanted.
I chose to use my new "Me to You" bears stamps. I hope it meets the brief.

my advent calender

I saw a kiaser craft advent calender in a recent magazine, and this is my interpretation of it.

For craft club it was my turn to teach, and I came up with some door hangers for around the home.

The ladies all joined in and seemed to enjoy the evening.

where does time go?

If only i knew where time went to..... it has been a month since my last posting and i am sorry for that. Time this month has zipped past and with work being so horrid, i spend my days off  in states of catatonia! However  I have been crafting but just havent managed to get on line to up load it.
Anyhooo enough waffle....... more craft!

I have been comissioned by a colleague to make some cards for Eid Mubarak. I had to ask her to be pretty prescriptive as to what she wanted, and I hope these do the job.

I have been playing with some stamps again today and creating new jotters to sell at luffy 11. Can't believe its now less than a week away.

These are  made to go in the pamper hamper, for loughborough 2011. Hope they add that over the rainbowness to the prize.

Have got the lurgy!

I've had the unfortunate missfortune to come down with coxsakie virus ( hand, foot and mouth!), catching it from a friends little girl, so I am off sick from work and confined to the house at the moment as its very contagious. I have tried to pass the time wisely by having a tidy up of my craft space and using up old supplies to make cards for cancer research........

they are made from old kits i would now never use myself, and instead of throwing away i put them to good use.
(24 cards in total).
I have also made some cards to sell at the loughborough do crafts meeting, proceeds going towards breath easy.

And today I have made some notelet sets for loughborough too, and hope someone takes a liking to them. I have used my scrap bag of bits of saved card and 3 sheets of  A3 card, so apart from hard work they have cost only pennies. I like my cottage cuts dies,  they look good each time.

As promised.

As i promised earlier, here are some of the other bits and pieces I have done in the last few weeks.
this is a pendant i made on our stamp and natter with maureen ( of maureens mixtures) and barry and anne. We dusted off the melting pot and had a play, great fun and love the out come.

I have also been making more jotters for the loughborough meet to go on the home produce table. Let me know what you think, and what i should charge. ( i think £1 ish ).

applologies for the delay in not posting new projects to my blog, it isnt because i havent beeen crafting, it's because i cant find my camera! Grrrrrrrrr i annoy myself sometimes! never mind annoying anyone else!

Phew free to craft

Have finished my course, I was left a little jelly brained and exhausted, But i passed! I am now free to craft to my little hearts content!

This is my dad's fathers day card I adapted from one I saw on the lilly of the valley site. The stamp is one of the new boy ranges and the papers are from my stash. I am hoping he likes it.

these are 2 atc's i have made in preparation for loughorough 2011, I used gloss card, and cotton wool to blend the inks, and then stamped  using crafty individual trees and paperartsy birds.

This is my Easter challenge. I was out shopping i saw some cream egg boxes, and challenged Barjan to alter them. Mine is a mix of magnolia stamps and country companion flowers.

hi, egged on my Maureen at yesterdays stamp and natter, I have set about making a blog. I would like to welcome anyone who visits and please leave me polite contructive feedback.

Yesterday's session was fun and I made an altered note book, using stamps made by barjan b crafts and gorjuss stamps, I stuck to sepia tones with a tuch of pink.
