lilly of the valley birthday card for my dad.

I have been toiling over this card today and I have finally got it to a point where I am happy with it. I hope he likes it too! I have used a lilly of the valley stamp and a range of papers from basil basics and kanban steampunk. The embelishments are home made flowers and jems.

back to the fuchsia?

I purchased some cheery lynn dies to make some hand made flowers, these fuchsias are a little time consuming, but worth it I think. They are made from the large rose die. The papers are all from my scraps bag, cheap and cheerfull!
And a special thanks to mo bunny for the stamen!

Humphrey's Corner Cards.

I have been preparing some cards to sell at work, they have a fathers day theme, and i have used Humphrey's Corner decoupage which is delightful. I must say I am very happy with them, and I just hope others think so too.

Lavinia stamps and pan pastels

I took a fancy to some Lavinia stamps at the Alli-Palli craft show, and also purchased some pan pastels. As this afternoon has been wet and wild, I stayed in and played, the pan pastels were really easy to use and as effective.... ( or more effective,.... as I'm useless at it!) than brayering. The finished results are as below, and they will be made into cards later.
